My name is Christina Schuler. I'm eighteen years old and I was born in Branchburg, New Jersey. If I had to describe myself in 7 words, I would say I am: friendly, caring, controlling, faithful, indecisive, confident, and sassy. Spending time with my family is an incredibly important aspect of my life. I love my parents, Mike and Helen, and I have two older sisters, Alliy and Michelle, and one younger brother, Joe. My family has three cats named Jasmine, Jinger, and Jenna, and I adore them all.

When I was younger, a lot of the choices I made were to make my parents proud, but now, I have learned to make my choices for me. I work hard at everything I do and give 100% effort not for anyone else, but for me. When I am stressed out, I often vent and complain about how crazy and busy and full of schoolwork my life is, but deep down, I actually love to be busy. In high school, I involved myself with clubs at school and other activities at my church. I was the president of a service club called By Kids For Kids, NHS, and French club, a member of Student Office and a 4 year member of the high school choir. I am also really active at my church. I used to be a third grade catechist during the week and I plan to continue being a Children's Liturgy leader, reader, and Vacation Bible School leader when I am home on breaks. It is really important to me to be able to share my Catholic faith and love of God in exciting and fun ways with the kids at my church.

I am excited to be a student at Notre Dame because I can't wait for all the opportunities the school will offer. I plan to study Business Administration and Management in the Mendoza School of Business, and I'm excited to explore options of additional courses and minors. Theology and Math are the classes I plan to take that I most enthusiastically await. As far as activity involvement goes, I am really looking forward to joining campus ministry and to becoming a part of the McGlinn dorm masses by volunteering to be a lector or eucharistic minister. I’m also excited to join the McGlinn student council and to be a part of their tutoring efforts at St. Aldabert’s school. Notre Dame has an amazing assortment of opportunities and I can’t wait to find the perfect ones for me!
