Topics in Physiology was my first experience with graduate-level classes at Notre Dame. Listed as a 500 level course, the syllabus is designed for Ph.D. candidates who are interested in physiology and working on their presentation skills. The class was co-taught by my research mentor (who was the reason why I took the class) and one of his colleagues. I learned a lot about the physiology of the eye, the mechanisms behind circadian rhythms, and how to present at a conference or defense of a dissertation.
