This page will give you all of the information you need to know about submitting your ePortfolio for awards and badge contests. If you already have an ePortfolio that you would like to submit, follow the instructions below!
To learn how to copy and move pages between existing ePortfolios (this can be useful for purposes of submission), click here.
If you are a new user or want to create a new ePortfolio to submit, click here and complete the steps of creating an ePortfolio before continuing with these instructions.
For examples of past winners for each award, click on the "Awards" tab at the top of this page.
1. Enroll in the Assessment Group. First, go to your digication homepage and click "Find" under the "My Assessment Groups" section
Type "ePortfolio" into the first search box, then click "Search". Finally, click on "ePortfolio Awards and Badges Assessment Group"
Enroll by clicking the title and then "Enroll". You can now go back to your Digication homepage to work on your ePortfolio.
2. Add and Submit your ePortfolio to the assessment group and for awards, respectively. To add your ePortfolio to the ePortfolio Awards and Badges Student Community, go to "ePortfolio Tools" at the top of the page and click "Settings"
Scroll down to the "Permissions" section and type in "eportfolio"; the assessment group (if you have self-enrolled in the group, see step 2) should show up in the dropdown menu automatically. Select this option, set the students and faculty for the course as "Viewers" and press "Save" at the bottom of the page.
To submit your ePortfolio for an award or badge, click on "ePortfolio Tools" again, but this time select "Submit"
Choose the award which you would like to submit your ePortfolio. If you are submitting to more than one award, you must do this for EACH contest. Also, make sure you submit to the current YEAR! We will NOT look at old years, so if you accidently submit to the wrong year, please resubmit to the current year. You will see titles, as in the picture below, preceded by the current year.
Then, select which pages of your ePortfolio you would like to submit and press "Submit". Not that if you see a red "DRAFT" you will need to cancel, save and publish those pages, and then repeat this submission process.
