During the fall semester of my junior year at Notre Dame, I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Toledo, Spain at La Fundación Ortega y Gasset. Through this program, I was able to pick up fluency in my third language, travel to many places around Spain and Europe, live in a host family, and meet students from all around the world. All the classes I took were taught in Spanish and part of the program included signing a contract to not speak English, which helped me pick up the language immensely. Durante el primer semestre de mi tercer año en la Universidad de Notre Dame, elegí a estudiar en Toledo, España por La Fundación Ortega y Gasset. A través de este programa, podía ganar la capacidad de hablar el idioma con fluencia, viajar a muchos sitios españoles y europeos, vivir con una familia española y conocer a muchos estudiantes de todo el mundo.
