Course Description: The second course in a two-semester sequence in general physics. Topics include electrostatics, electric current, and circuits; magnetism, electromagnetic induction, and waves; and geometrical optics. A course designed for students of science and engineering. Laboratory meetings in alternating weeks only. Weekly tutorial sessions.
This class was focused on electricity and magnetism, and compared to Physics I, these concepts were much harder to envision. I would have to say, however, that the lab experiments in Physics II were more visually appealing than those in Physics I. Even so, this course solidified my decision to become a mechanical rather than an electrical engineer.
